Why did Growthpoint make this step in supporting homeless youth?

Youth homelessness is a pressing issue that demands collective action and we recognise the important role businesses play in addressing societal challenges. Our decision to partner with the Foundation stems from our commitment to leveraging our resources and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the communities where we operate.

  • Hosting a charity darts event with some of our key contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for Hard Hat Day

Which events or activities have been most memorable?

Over the past year, our team at Growthpoint has had the privilege of participating in several memorable and enjoyable events organised by the Foundation. Each event has offered unique opportunities for team building, collaboration with suppliers, and personal enrichment. One of the highlights for us has been the Tour de PIF cycling event in Victoria, where our team had the chance to not only compete in a challenging race but also connect with industry peers in the countryside setting of the Yarra Valley.

Which ones are you looking forward to?

The Steps for Homeless Youth event on 10 May at Albert Park Lake is very popular at Growthpoint. It allows us to combine philanthropy with healthy activities; promoting employee wellbeing while supporting the Foundation’s vital work. Events like this not only foster team spirit but also demonstrate our commitment to making a positive difference in our communities.

Growthpoint is a Supporting Partner for this year’s Steps for Homeless Youth. How would you encourage others to sign up?

Participating in Steps for Homeless Youth is not just about taking steps—it’s about taking a stand for a cause that affects our community deeply. By joining forces with the Foundation and fellow participants, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of homeless youth, providing them with the support and opportunities they need to thrive. We are participating and encourage others to sign up and join us in this meaningful event!

Thanks, Growthpoint!
